Be careful what you burn in your log burner, it could damage your liner, your stove or your health.

Do NOT burn:
Unseasoned wood: Hard to light and keep burning
Produces lots of smoke and steam
Causes soot and tar buildup and increases chimney fire risk
Treated wood: Releases harmful chemicals
Can damage health, the stove, and the environment
House coal (Bitumen): Burns much hotter than wood
Can overheat and damage the stove and flue
Rubbish / household waste: Never burn waste materials in a stove

Recommended:
Well-seasoned logs, under 20% moisture content
Burn cleaner and more efficiently
Produce less smoke, soot, tar, and emissions
